Hi, I am a cosmetologist and it doesn’t matter what brand you use. You do need to look and see if the box you buy is old though. Some stores will keep them for years before they put them on clearance and they are brittle and yellowing and will break very easily. KISS is my favorite brand if you wanted to know. Hope this helped!
