I have an ingrown toenail on my left big toe. Its not that deep but I cant reach it to cut it. This is my third ingrown toenail and my second on the same toe. Are there any remedies to maybe loosen the nail so I can cut it? When the doctor cuts it, the pain afterwards is excruciating!

ok so like 3 months ago i was running with size 7 shoes on when im a size 8 so after that night my big toe has been hurting really bad. today i just realized that it has come unattached on one side and on the bottom but is still attached on the opposite side.it doesn’t hurt at all only if i pull it up to a certain height or bang it.should i go see a Doctor or wait for it to fall off, or pull it off??
im not good with pain!!! oh and what will it look like when it is off??

my toenail is falling off?

back in december someone stepped on my toe. the left side automatically started to get red. after a week it started to turn navy blue/black (bruising im guessing) and now it is dark blue on the top and red on the bottom but only on the left side. the beginning of this month i noticed that the left side of the toe is falling off (it’s kind of up in the air on that side but not too bad) i find it irritating because im afraid it’ll get caught to something like my sock and cause it to bleed. my mom wants to get a doctor to look at it but my dad says that the toe will fall off on it’s own. it’s about 5 months now – will the toe fall off like he said? im afraid that only half of it will fall since the other half is perfect color. is there anything to worry about?
if the whole nail doesn’t come loose, then does the nail grow back abnormally?
& how long does it usually take for the big toe nail to grow back?
