How do you know if you have an ingrown toenail?

I am a runner so I have really bad toes(callouses,blisters, and bad toe nails) but on my big toe I have a hard callous that when clipped, starts to bleed. My mom thinks it might be an ingrown toenail. I **** shots so if it is an ingrown toe nail is there anyway to have it removed w/o a shot?

OKAY. One thing, I have so much nail polish 80% of it dries before I can use it. Every time I want to use a new color I remove the other polish and put on the new polish. If I keep doing this will I damage my nails? My mom says too much of “adult” nail polish will eventually get inthrough my nail and turn it dark-ish. Should I stop now?

my toenail is falling off?

back in december someone stepped on my toe. the left side automatically started to get red. after a week it started to turn navy blue/black (bruising im guessing) and now it is dark blue on the top and red on the bottom but only on the left side. the beginning of this month i noticed that the left side of the toe is falling off (it’s kind of up in the air on that side but not too bad) i find it irritating because im afraid it’ll get caught to something like my sock and cause it to bleed. my mom wants to get a doctor to look at it but my dad says that the toe will fall off on it’s own. it’s about 5 months now – will the toe fall off like he said? im afraid that only half of it will fall since the other half is perfect color. is there anything to worry about?
if the whole nail doesn’t come loose, then does the nail grow back abnormally?
& how long does it usually take for the big toe nail to grow back?
