Why does Acetone Nail polish remover make nails yellow?

i’m pretty sure it’s the nail polish itself that causes yellow stains. The colour seeps in and stains it yellow.
Otherwise, if it’s the acetone, then it’s because it’s weakening the nail, which may cause stains to become easier to occur.

its not the nail polish remover.
its the nail polish itself
nails are like teeth porous
so like teeth they absorb what we put on them.
to remedy this just use your emory board and rub gently until its all gone

Yep its the nail polish try the experiment again except put a clear base coat then color the polish wont soak in therefore keeping the nails normal
